Volunteer

Looking to make a difference in the lives of elders? Chateau Gardens welcomes all individuals wanting to make a difference in the lives of those with memory impairments. All volunteers will receive training in creative assistance techniques and a volunteer resource guide with valuable information on memory loss, support groups and community resources, and keys to better understanding the effects of Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

All volunteers must pass state- and federally-mandated background checks prior to working with our residents.

We, at Chateau Gardens, believe in the power of partnering with healthcare and other community professionals in a coordinated effort to meet and exceed the expectations of senior with memory loss and their families. We are dedicated to identifying and referring to professional individuals who share our beliefs in providing quality senior services to all seniors in need- regardless of physical or mental disability or financial assistance need.

Senior Wish Partners

Chateau Gardens would like to make the wishes of its residents come true! Founded by the Oregon Health Care Foundation, Senior Wish partners are fulfilling dreams all over the state of Oregon through Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. Memory impairments don’t have to leave us isolated from our hopes and dreams. We are seeking professional partners, in any business who wish to help us make dreams come true!

Whether its performing at a jazz club one more time or simply getting to enjoy that favorite ice cream at the diner, we can make a senior wish come true!
